BAM Wellness: Urban Plogging

We take care of ourselves and the parks!

The word “plogging” indicates a practice the consists of collecting the waste found on our paths while jogging or doing other outdoor sports activities.

The idea on which it is based is that of optimising our time normally used for training to also do something positive for the space where we live.

BAM invites citizens to take part in this collective activity that will take them to clean up some park areas in an original and unusual manner, guided by musical accompaniment through headphones.

During the activity there will be a promotion stand set up by Milan Red Cross volunteers, where it will be possible to learn lifesaving manoeuvres and practice obstruction clearance techniques.
