Back to the City Concert – VI Edition – BAM

From Milan to around the world, from an evening concert to a Festival: the new performances at the sixth Back to the City Concert are transformational, just like BAM, with a desire to involve more and more people in our ecosystem of free open air culture.

In keeping with BAM’s tradition, the Camerata Salzburg on the lawns of Biblioteca degli Alberi will offer an unforgettable open air concert for coming back to the city after the summer holidays. After five editions in the company of the most famous Italian orchestras, the format is undergoing a radical change and presents an international orchestra with the immortal music of W. A. Mozart and a programme of dedicated activities.

Several musical moments throughout the full day, inspired by the figure of Mozart, will accompany and prepare the public for the evening concert. It consists of a path of music education in stages that involves children and adults alike. This huge participatory musical activity will call a large group of very young musicians to the park to play together to Mozart’s music and to set off the talent of the children, a sound dialogue between classic and jazz on the composer’s pages and a talk so we can develop even a greater interest in the magic of the great concert.
