BAM Performing Art in the Park: Zampognorchestra

The Zampognorchestra plays rock and jazz, classical music, the blues, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones!

Let’s forget for a moment the stereotype of the piper and only the music characteristic of Christmas tradition. Then let’s try to imagine a row of musicians armed with bagpipes that in addition to striking up “Tu scendi dalle stelle” start up the riff of “Satisfaction” or the intro of “With a Little Help from My Friends”. 

This eccentric and engaging marching band with an unusual formation will play a rock/Christmas repertoire to festively close the day dedicated to the celebration of winter’s arrival at the Park.
