BAM Season Day: Winter Time!

The change of season is always an opportunity to renew ourselves and look at what we know through fresh eyes and discover the park’s nature that moves slower, becomes quiet and gets ready for its winter rest.

As is true for the arrival of every new season, we are celebrating the winter solstice together with a programme of activities for everyone that will start Saturday, 14 December with the customary BAMoff at the Volvo Studio Milano and will continue all day long on Sunday, 15 December at BAM.

It will get off to a start with a meditation practice with Mudras, hand yoga, continuing with the Botanical Stroll so the public can enjoy the Park also during the winter season and the phase during which nature begins its rest will be explained by expert agronomists so that the experience is made more introspective and intimate. The stroll will be accompanied by musical moments with traditional Christmas carols!

The traditional Master Gardener botanical workshop returns for every BAM Season Day, with the planting of marvellous daffodil bulbs that can become a perfect gift for the Christmas period. 

All day long children with their families will be able to take part in the Traces of Winter workshop organised by Progetto SullaLuna, in which they will have the opportunity to create a real colourful game inspired by the magic of winter and Christmas. 

A moment will end the holiday with a fun and enthralling musical parade of the ZAMPOGNORCHESTRA that will turn the Park into a magical, enchanted place where the imagination can travel far. 

The day will be packed with activities for everyone, with a foodtruck service for warming up with hot chocolate, tea and infusions, vin brulè and delicious sweets!
