BAM Talk: The roots of health

Fifth and last appointment for the 2023 Conversations for the Environment cycle, now at its third edition and dedicated to the topic 2023 of our relationship with nourishment and with the planet.

During the meeting we will host Maria Rescigno of Humanitas University and the journalist and writer Eliana Liotta. Moderator Massimo Sideri.

The contents and speakers were selected thanks to the generous contribution of a scientific committee chaired by Professor Marco Riva and whose members are Sharon Cittone, Francesca Colombo, Federica Gasbarro, Anna Scavuzzo, Donatella Sciuto, Massimo Sideri and Roberto Stringa.

Eliana Liotta is a journalist, best-selling author and university teacher. Her book La Dieta Smartfood (The Smartfood Diet), a team project with the IEO-European Institute of Oncology, has been translated in over 20 countries, from South Korea to Brazil. She has written other successful essays for the publishing house La Nave di Teseo in partnership with the European Institute on Economics and the Environment. She created and edits the “Scienze per la vita” (Sciences for Life) series of publications at the publisher Sonzogno, in which she has published 11 books by scientists and physicians of great renown. She writes two weekly columns for Corriere della Sera: on in Corriere Salute and one in Io Donna. She has recorded two podcast series again for Io Donna, entitled “Il bene che mi voglio” (Love for Myself). She teaches the Publishing course in the highly specialised Science Communication master’s degree programme at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University and teaches in RCS Academy post-graduate master’s degree programmes.
