Guixot de 8 – Guixot de 8 (ES) company

In over 20 hours of activity, Guixot de 8, the team directed by the maestro Joan Rovira, has transformed 10 tonnes of waste into 300 games, unique pieces presented up until today in 26 different countries on 5 continents for a total of 5000 shows. ​

​The games presented are entirely made with recycled materials. Physical and mechanical principles are applied on simple objects used every day that make them interesting and new so we can rediscover the magic of a magnet or the reflection of a mirror. Without batteries, sockets or power, the public’s ability will be put to the test with pull and equilibrium exercises in a winner-less competition that will improve everyone’s ability. ​

The Guixot de 8 installation sets out to be a stimulating moment for the imagination of children and parents, who will discover what new functions can be given to objects.

The two game and performance moments on Saturday, 25/5, will be held at these times:

• from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• from 4 to 7 p.m.
