BAM Circus – The Marvels at the Park Festival III Edition

The festival of contemporary circus and street theatre, BAM Circus, is back on the lawns of Biblioteca degli Alberi. It is conceived and directed by Francesca Colombo, General Cultural Director of BAM, Fondazione Riccardo Catella.

The third edition talks about the relationship between MICRO and MACRO: a contrast not only physical and emphasised by the out-of-scale dimensions of the performances, but also metaphorical, aimed at investigating the combination individual – community in a synergistic bond with Nature.

Three days of wonder amaze BAM’s audience, and also invite it to reflect on current topics through the poetic language of figure theatre and street art in a series of international performances – many staged for the first time in Italy – participatory actions, touring parades, installations, talks and the documentary “Calder’s 1927 Great Circus” to take an in-depth look at the bond between Art History and the Circus.
