BAMoff Performing Arts: Spontaneous Rituals Original Sound from a Future World

On Thursday, 19 June the BAMoff event at Volvo Studio Milano will be back!

The coming together of personal heritage, traditional sounds and travels around the world: these spontaneous rituals are created as a tribute to everyone who secretly or publicly resists and as a collective path to share in the ritual of the concert. 

The musicians Dudù Kouate, heir of the Griot tradition, and Simon Sieger have discovered that they share a common desire: to mix traditional sounds in an imaginary world. As the music gradually came to life, it became obvious that they were joined by one aspiration coming both from their jazz background and their personal experiences. This aspiration is directed at a spirit of resistance to a materialistic world, by seeking values in rituals, hidden in everyday actions and in secret dreams that go beyond.
