BAM Strolls Amidst Roses, Insects and Biodiversity

On the walk slated for Sunday, 25 May – with Beatrice Barni, Research and Hybridization Manager of Rose Barni – we will go discover the botanical collection of Biblioteca degli Alberi and this park’s relationship with the neighbourhood’s traditions and modernity.

The route will start off from the BAM Rose Garden – Oasis of Insects and Butterflies to take a close look at how the biodiversity of the park contributes to the city’s ecological balance. This corner of the park, designed as a refuge for urban micro-fauna, hosts 90 varieties of roses, including the BAM Rose, and plants selected to attract pollinating insects.

Every last Sunday of the month will have a different focus to discover peculiarities on branches, leaves and fruit through the seasons with some of the experts who have contributed to building this garden!
