BAM Summer Festival

Let’s celebrate the summer solstice with Music! A sound wave inspired by the music and dances characteristic of the Mediterranean to rediscover the force of popular roots and the power of aggregation of community traditions.

A day packed with workshops for children, adults and families, participated activities and musical moments with young talents.

As Khalil Gibran said, music is the language of the spirit, a unique language without barriers, exactly like this day that celebrates distant cultures and original fusions that place difference, fragility, at the core of the production.

BAM is the first Italian organisation to become part of the Refugee Week programme, the largest display of art and culture in the world that celebrates the creativity of people in search of refuge. BAM Summer Festival connects international artists and important solidarity organisations – such as UNHCR, Emergency, Progetto ARCA and Caritas Ambrosiana, with many activities for the public to enjoy: small and large concerts, moments of circle singing, animated readings, talks and DJ sets.
