Performing Arts in the Park: Piccoli Cantori di Milano Concert

As part of the day of joy dedicated to winter’s arrival, we’re celebrating the forthcoming holidays in full BAM style, in a musical moment with the treble voices of the Piccoli Cantori di Milano, who will enchant the audience with a rich repertoire dedicated to the theme of light and the winter and holiday atmospheres, offering us pieces spanning from classical music and songs of the Italian tradition to international pieces on peace.

I Piccoli Cantori di Milano Choir

Founded in 1964 by Niny Comolli and conducted by Laura Marcora, it is made up of a hundred or so children and teens from 5 to 14 years old. It distinguishes itself for the wealth and variety of its international, classical and dialect (not only Milanese) repertoire, and for the original arrangements of contemporary pieces.

It has participated in many concerts and television broadcasts and in the production of television broadcast signature tunes. It has accompanied artists of national and world fame and has cut film soundtracks. It has performed in historical events of high symbolic value and enormous media visibility and has always carried out intensive charity activities in hospitals and geriatric institutes.

In 2005, it received the certificate of Civic Merit from the Municipality of Milan for the activity it carries out at the social and cultural level.
